Description
The Pedi-Perch Living World Cement Bird Perch provides a non-toxic self-grooming perch that helps trim claws and keep their tips flat and well-groomed. The multi-grip corrugated surface promotes foot circulation and helps prevent arthritis and atrophy.
In addition, this perch helps clean and care for birds’ beaks. Attach the Pedi-Perch to the cage door provided it is not the highest available to the bird.
Always have a variety of perches in the cage to prevent foot problems like plantar synovitis. Regularly monitor the health of the bird’s feet.
To clean, scrub the Pedi-Perch under running water with soap. Make sure it is completely dry before putting it back in the cage.
Recommended use for conures and caiques.
Note: Birds’ feet should wrap ⅔ around the perch and should not touch or overlap.
